Homework for October 5, 2016

Math:

  • Lesson 2.2.3 Is there a relationship?  R&P 2-46  through 2-50  all parts
  • Lesson 2.3.1 How can I make the largest area?  R&P 2-56 through 2-59 all parts

Science:

  • Study for test on Wednesday
  • Read and annotate Issue Overview:  Solar Panels.  Read, annotate and answer questions at the end.  Focus on good annotations.

Language Arts:

  • Spelling page 36 and page 37
  • Vocabulary word of the week:  resolute  day 5 and day 1 for new word:  conspicuous
  • Out of the Dust vocabulary word graffiti – my word is_____________________
    • Graffiti Criteria
    • 1. Vocabulary word is drawn using bubble letters or other creative font
    • 2. Description of term using own words
    • 3. At least 3 images representing the term
    • 4. All white space must be colored in
  • Ending punctuation worksheets, pages 3-5
  • Read Out of the Dust pages 19-33
  • Complete Out of the Dust Worksheets, Winter-Spring 1934, Character Traits (there are no page numbers on these!)
  • Complete Out of the Dust Vocabulary # 2 Due Oct 7
  • Out of the Dust FreeWrite #2 Spring 1934
  • Choose book for next book report by Oct 7.  Must be at least 200 pages.
