Gradebook is completely updated as of today, right now at 3:15 pm.  All work that I have has been entered into the gradebook.  Any missing assignments for learning period 3 must be in by January 5th, which is our first day back and the start of the new semester!

**Ugly Christmas sweater class contest on Thursday!  Wear your ugly sweater if you’ve got one (or make one!)  Participation not mandatory, but it will be fun!

Well, one more day of school before Winter break!  We’ve got a lot of loose ends to tie up, and we will be finishing several units tomorrow in class.

Science: 

Students need to research how to make their own water filtration system.  The supplies they have available to them are water bottles, gravel, sand and activated carbon.  They also will have coffee filters and cotton balls.  They began the design process on Tuesday.

Language arts:

**I will not be in the beginning of class on Thursday, December 10th.  My son broke his arm and he will be getting his cast tomorrow morning at 8:30.  I should be back hopefully soon after class starts, but with doctors….you never know.  While I am out Lynn Weidenkeller, the ceramics teacher, will be covering the class.  Thank you for your understanding.
