Back to normal schedule for 3 more weeks! Testing went great, and all of your children performed to the best of their ability! We all noticed the effort that the 7th grade students put forth. Thank you for encouraging them through this new testing.
We are really on the downhill run now with only 3 weeks left in classes, and a whole lot to accomplish!
Students should be finishing their books for their last book review powerpoint presentation. That will be due and presented on the last day of class May 21st.
Students also have a research report that they will be writing and working on both in class and at home. We will be working on the introductory paragraph tomorrow.
Lastly for history, students are working on a Renaissance ABC book in which they will be finding a person, object or idea that was “alive” or created during the Renaissance for each letter of the alphabet. They will need to do research using their textbook, or any online sources. For example, the letter A, can be architecture of the Renaissance. They need to include a picture, either drawn or printed of their person, object or idea, and then a description of their item. We will be working on this in class as well as homework.
